* I would like to obtain a Student Certificate or Transcript. Where should I apply?
If you are a currently enrolled student, you can obtain the relevant documents by applying to the Faculty Student Affairs Office. Graduates can log in to https://ebys.yildiz.edu.tr/OgrenciBelge/Index/ (by filling out the required personal information) to access an “E-Signed” Academic Transcript in both Turkish and English free of charge.
* Can I obtain a letter stating that I have not received any disciplinary penalties?
For enrolled students requesting a disciplinary record, information regarding their disciplinary status is included in the “STUDENT RECORD,” which must be obtained from the Faculty Secretariats. Since information regarding the disciplinary status of our graduates who request a disciplinary record is included in the “ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT,” no separate document indicating disciplinary status is issued. If the relevant statement is not included (for those who received disciplinary sanctions during their studies), graduates must send an email to ytumezun@yildiz.edu.tr, and currently enrolled students must send an email to ogidb@yildiz.edu.tr.
* Where should I submit my petition regarding registration or other issues?
You can fill out the relevant form or petition from the templates available at http://www.ogi.yildiz.edu.tr/ogi/7/Formlar-ve-Dilekçeler/39 and submit it to the Department Secretary’s Office.
* I am unable to complete my registration.
Online registration is not available in the following cases:
Not having a Turkish ID number, Being unable to obtain an e-Government password due to being abroad, Being currently enrolled at another higher education institution, Being unable to verify high school graduation through e-Okul, A medical report being required for the program to which you were placed, as specified in the relevant sections of the ÖSYS Guide.
Students who cannot complete their registration for these reasons may do so in person on the dates announced by ÖSYM and specified in the guides (www.ogi.yildiz.edu.tr) and prepared by our University.
* What is a required course?

* What is an elective course?
Answer: These are courses offered on a per-semester basis to help students complete the credits required for graduation. Students are required to select courses from this list each semester. For related courses: http://www.bologna.yildiz.edu.tr/index.php?r=program/view&id;=27&aid;=16
* How can I find out who my academic advisor is and their office hours?
You can access your advisor’s information through the Student Information System (OBS). Faculty members’ office hours are listed on their AVESİS pages. (Links to faculty members’ AVESİS pages can be found on the department’s website.)
*What are the requirements for taking the final or make-up exams?
To be eligible to take final and make-up exams, you must have attended at least 70% of theoretical courses and at least 80% of all practical sessions outside of theoretical courses. To be eligible for a make-up exam, you must have been enrolled in the relevant courses during the academic year in which the exam is held and have met the requirements for taking the end-of-semester exam for those courses.
*Under what circumstances can I take a make-up exam? When should I apply for a make-up exam?
In the event of illness: The illness must be documented by a medical certificate covering at least 3 (three) days (excluding private clinics), and the certificate must be submitted to the relevant Department Chair no later than 3 (three) days after the end date indicated on the certificate. In the event of the death or emergency hospitalization of a first-degree relative; or in the event of a traffic accident or natural disaster, the documentation must be submitted to the relevant Department Chair no later than 3 (three) days from the exam date. In cases of detention or imprisonment lasting no longer than 21 business days for theoretical courses or 14 business days for other courses in a single semester; If a student is unable to take an exam due to an assignment by the university or other official institutions for reasons such as national or international competitions, sports activities, or similar events, a make-up exam will be granted in the event of a scheduling conflict between the dual major program and the primary major program’s exam schedule. If a student is unable to take an exam for a reason not listed above, they must provide documentation of this reason. For information on how these rights are applied, please review the “Acceptance of Excuses for Midterm Exams and Principles for Conducting Make-up Exams” (DD-007).
*What are the requirements for taking a capstone project?
In order for a student to be eligible for a capstone project, they must have successfully completed a number of courses equivalent to at least 75% of the total credits in the curriculum and have a GPA of at least 2.00.
*Which department should I contact regarding Pedagogical Training procedures?
Please contact the Faculty of Education for all information regarding Pedagogical Training applications and the application process.
*Which department should I contact regarding the Turkish Language course?
Answer: For the Turkish Language course, please contact the Department of Turkish Language at the Rector’s Office.
